Checklist
0 of 10 doneIf you cannot be there
Leave the keys and paperwork where we agree, such as in a lockbox or with a neighbor. The transporter will confirm when the boat is collected.
Things not to do
- Do not spend money on repairs or detailing
- Do not remove the registration numbers
- Do not cancel insurance until pickup is complete
What the transporter does
The transporter checks the boat against the paperwork, confirms the HIN, secures the boat on the trailer, and checks lights and straps before leaving. Most pickups take under an hour.
Weather and delays
Transporters reschedule for severe weather or unsafe roads. If plans change, we will call you with a new time.
After the boat leaves
Take a photo of the empty spot, keep your copy of the paperwork, and see our after-you-donate guide for what to do next.
