Removal and transport
Diesels are heavy. Your yard removes the engine and straps it to a pallet or skid, and we arrange freight from there. A matched pair from a twin-engine boat can go as one donation.
Makes we see often
Cummins, Caterpillar, Yanmar, Volvo Penta, MAN, MTU, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, Perkins, Westerbeke, and Beta Marine.
Not on the list? It is here to help you find your boat, not to limit what we take. We accept every make and model, listed or not, including rare builders and companies that closed decades ago. A donation depends on the boat's condition and paperwork, never the name on the hull, so enter yours on the form even if you do not see it here.
Questions
Do you take pairs of engines?
Yes. Matched pairs from a twin-engine repower are common donations.
Are older mechanical diesels still wanted?
Often, yes. Mechanical Detroit, Cat, and Perkins engines have loyal buyers.
Do I need oil analysis?
No, but it helps. So do any logs you kept.
